has anyone had such situation. The goby was not doing too well.. so today i was doing the water change and could not find him.. but saw something dark inside the candy anenome. i took him and interestingly the anenome spit him out (dead).. is it safe to put back the anenome? i flushd out the goby :( i returned the anenome but just concerned it may do something nasty in the nano. Appreciate your thoughts.

Thank you.. yes i meant the condylactus. Thanks for the correction. is it a bad idea to have this in a nano? will it go after live fish or just dead ones?

what is a Candy Anemone? Oh, do you mean Condy as in Condylactus? they're known fish eaters. In fact, they're more likely to eat fish than host any fish. they're from the Atlantic where there are NO clowns.

it is a 14gallon and its time for it to go :( any one wants a free Condylactus?

What size is your Nano? Chances are, no anemone will be appropriate for a small tank. Condys will go after ANYTHING in your tank. They won't chase them down, but they'll sting and eat anything in your tank.
