always wanted a ''less than reef safe'' type tank

Thinking of makeing it a sort of aquarium where i can finally get all those fish that are less than reef safe like Triggers, big wrasses,[Harlinquin Tusk etc.Maybe even a lion, and a frog fish.Only time will tell.

Say hello to my little frend

Decided to save money on lighting, and make it a deep water tank. And the star attraction is my cool new Nautilis.Lighting?2x65 50\50,Temp 75, 100 lbs. live sand, both from my other tanks [some up and running 12 years]and bagged, and about 80 lbs of rock i think. Also have a cool scorpion-leaf fish that i havn't put in just yet.

nautalus

I got it from Underwater World for about 100 bucks, and is the coolest pet i've ever had.Day three and it already comes up to the front when it sees me and takes mysis from my hand.It also eats a algae based food that i make. From what i've read it has been known to live for up to 15 years in the home aquarium[unlike it's close relatives octopus, cuttlefish]as long as conditions are favorible.
