I'll always remember that night pulling off the 220th St exit in Mountlake Terrace/Edmonds and having a Mountlake Terrace police officer pull in behind the car and asked what happened. I told him the tire just blew out and he asked well how fast were you going. *lol* These days I take it to the track if I wish to go fast. That is what the track is for.

Exactly where it is at. On my bike - 08 GSXR 1k, fastest i've done, only because of my comfort level - was around 170mph ish on outer 1/4 mile segment of PIR. It's amazing at how steady and surprisingly crisp the bike is at those speeds.

Yeah, I remember the Yamaha R1 I had was super nice and easy to handle. I keep asking the spousal unit if I can buy another bike... the jury is still out on that one. I think it is due to a motorcycle accident I had many years ago. *lol*

hahahah yeah. Lucky for me the gf/soon to be wifey, loves the bike and supports me having it. She was a bit weary after I went down ( broken clavicle ) but knows it's apart of the game. Love being on a bike.

A bit of old school? This is my 68 Marcos 1600gt... the "wooden wonder" mahogany and plywood tub, fiberglass body and a tube frame to carry the engine, 1600 cortina crossflow, fix seat, pedals and steering wheel come to the driver. Designed around a 6'3'' driver and stands 35'' at the roof, haven't touched it in 23 yrs, my retirement project.

Yup its a junker. Its got a Merlin 572 in it collecting dust waiting for its lazy owner to weld up the rear-end.

So that cars down getting body work and a motor swap( putting in a 1.8t from a 2003 Passat) I need something to drive to school everyday. So I traded my purple s10 for a jetta. Bought some coilovers, did alot of maintenance work and bought some new wheels.

Well my maintenance work couldn't help the tranny it went lol. I hated the 8v in the cabriolet and I hated it in the 8v in the jetta sooo rather then just the transmission and since I'm still a kid lol that 8v had to go just like the other one.

New motor got a refresh. Only had 90k on it anyway but had a lot of stuff redone before the motor went in.

Wow, That bay looks amazing. I wish i had the time/patience/tools/experience to do that to my mkiv R32. Though i just put in 268/268 schrick cams, rebuilding my v.2 s/c with 928 motorsports upgraded impeller/bearings and a custom pully. Should be in the mid 500's HP to the wheels :) I'll post pics once it's back together in a week or so.

Why wait none of my cars are together lol. I love r32s. I hope to put the whole drive train of that car in the cabriolet some day. An all wheel drive v6 covertable rabbit would be so fun.

Aint much on anything in here, but this is my car. 2002 Ford Focus SVT. Only mods are lowered 1 1/2" over matching eibach springs and struts. Ford Racing ram intake. Massive Plug Wires in 8mm. NGK plugs. Underdeive pulley. Took the A/C out. But the car handles great right out the box. Driving it is a blast, in the turns especially!! It has a 6 speed manual and the funnest thing to do with the 6 speeds....downshift from 6th to 3rdthe at 70mph and floor it!! Rush! It has the getrag manual trans. Same as on the rally cars, i think some bmw, and same as the Mini Cooper S. (Lorrie>>> Same car as Eric.)
