Has Anybody successfully kept catalina gobies in their tanks? I know they require a bit cooler temp than most reef fish, but has anybody kept them in warmer reef water and had them survive? I've read that they can school if you put more than one in a tank. They're so pretty.

Any one on the site have pictures of catalina gobies? I have been putting some gobies in my tank just had a lttle trouble with my Blue Noen gobies chasing each other around. I have a pair of Golden Neon's that never leave each others sides. A masked gobie. And i have a Yasha Hase Shrimp Goby that is never seen in my tank. just a sucker for them little gobies

They're so beautiful it may be worth getting a small 10 or 20 gallon just to house these guys. =) I also love gobies and blennies. One of my favorites is the brackish water bumble bee goby.

I do to my last experiment was getting the Yasha Hase Shrimp Goby and a little Randall's Pistol Shrimp hoping they would pair up well so much for plans they both set up their own caves 6" apart in the center of my tank and you never get to see them. These two if wanted should be put in a Very peaceull tank first and hope they would get together..Jeff

I had them a long time ago (before digital cameras were affordable) lol =) when I was little. They never grew very big. Cute little guys though. They lived for a long time.
