Catching a cleaner shrimp

Does anyone have any tricks to catch a cleaner shrimp? It seems every time I try it figures out what I am trying to do. It has been in my tank for almost two years and has started to become a nuisance

put in a clear acryilc box with food in it??
wiat for it to find the food and then slide a net over the opening!
Mine will always try to steal food from the BTA every time I feed the thing.

Just put your hand in there. His need to clean you will take over and you can just scoop him up. I will buy him from you once you get him out if you're selling him.

+1 on what Adam said. I've caught all sorts of pesty buggers over the years using that method. It doesn't have to be acrylic, a glass out of the cupboard will work.

You can make a baited trap out of a 2 liter bottle by cutting the top end off and inverting it into the tube.
