So I just had a 20 gallon drilled out a 1 3/4" hole through the bottom glass for my new fuge I'm setting up and it only cost me $10. Yep, pretty nice.
The place is Perkins glass on Broadway in Seattle. They're not the most people friendly folks, but for 10 bucks, I can over look that.

Well then why do you even bother to mention them?? If they are not friendly then don't do business with them. Just because they are 10 bucks doesn't mean you have to lick their .... and pretend anything. This is recession, if someone has a problem with serving a customer then f.. em, let them go out of business, and hopefully the next guy that opens up a business will be more customer friendly. Have some dignity...or buy your own tools and do it yourself so you don't have to deal with d..heads.

Great comment . They have prices that are different each time somebody asks, and from what I have heard they only drill on Sat. ?

We will drill glass also , but its not the cheapest in town.:)

Relax guy and take it for what it's worth. If I had mentioned them and said nothing about their less than stellar personalities and you went their expecting some great experience, you'd probably write back slamming me for letting you know about them in the first place. My dignity is in place. When you say "f..em" and call them "d..heads", is yours? If that's what I thought about them, I wouldn't recommend them. They might be a little grumpy, like that old grumpy uncle or grandfather you know, but your comments are not justified.

Yes. Mr. Perkins, God bless his curmudgeonly little heart, will probably tell you he prefers to do it on Saturday.

They probably would have been my next best option if I had not found something closer to where I live. I've heard some great things about them and need to get up their way some time to check out their shop.
