Yeah, I would love to build this as well as maybe a skimmer and a few other things I will, however, have to wait a week or two before the home depot trip. I just spend a bunch of money for stuff for my reef tank and my spouse is a little disgruntled...

does crushed coral work as a good medium?
and what do you think would be a good size/height for this thing for a 20 gallon tank, (i'm just thinking i might start venturing into sps corals as soon as i get my MH lights and a few other things)
also did the DIY guide thing with Julia ever work out?
