About a month ago I tried Chemiclean to get rid of brown slime algae in my frag tank....it do not clear the brown algae. During the same I had zoas closed and died for no reason, after the Chemiclean treatment zoas are happier. I also treated my main tank, both tanks do not have cyno. Could it be that I just needed a large water change or Chemiclean got rid of something? Here are some pics the day after the large water change.

i havent tried chemiclean but i dont see any problems of corals in the pics...so that means it just needed a waterchange after treatment...just a thought/guess:)

It even says in the instructions on the chemiclean box to turn off protein skimmer, take all carbon out of the system and do a water change after 2 days and resume filtration. I've used it on my 300 gallon system at home and my BC 29 with great results. Course as a last option after adjusting light exposure and flow.
