Chevron Tang with mouth problem

I am just sick to see my mature Chevron Tang now suddenly with a problem with his mouth. It is enlarged and he seems not to be able to close it. He wants to eat and chases food but doesn't take it in. What's going on? I will try to get a pic.

Okay here is the best pic I could get... it seems his lower lip is infected and a little more ragged. Overall mouth opening size is larger than normal. He is also now being much more timid... hiding more in the daylight. Came on quickly... one day!

Sad news... I set up a quarantine, tore all the rock out to catch him doing all kinds of damage but he didn't make it two days in the hospital.

man that really sucks.....my kole tang had the same thing happen to him but he learned how to inhale the food and now his mouth is mostly fixed he can open and close it now. it has been about 2 months since it started.
