chocolate chip star and starburst polyp

I know that a chocolate chip starfish you have to be careful with. Will my Starburst polyp be ok with it in the tank?

I would take it out if you’re concerned about it. I had one eat every polyp in the tank and pink tip anemones. I believe they are considered fish only safe critters.

Yeah I found another post saying that exact same thing...So he found a new home in my sump..

If you want i reef tank then its all about the coral and your controll. I wouldnt keep any with caution stock. It might be fine for months but as he grows and his appetite grows then you have a much better chance of unwanted results. Remove any and all with caution stock.

It's not about being careful. Chocolate stars have NO place in a tank with any corals...unless you're goal is to feed the starfish.
