Ok as much as I hate what I'm about to do. I need to invest in yet another skimmer. (number 3 for me.) been doing some reseach and have found these two, any one have pros or cons for each? I have an Iwaki 55rlt pump to drive it.

Space is not a problem so if anyone knows of a better skimmer please let me know.

Aqua C EV- 400

My Reef Creations MR-3

look at my sig for details on the tank.

please help. I dont want to make yet another skimmer mistake.

I heard that IAP makes comparable skimmer.... well... any help here?

I second the Aqua C. There customer service is as good as the performance of the skimmer. You would not be disapointed with an EV series.

Yea I kind of lean towards Aqua c also, but they are pretty close.

good luck

I would contact IAP and find out what kind of foot print they have. In case that would help with your decision.

little late and a dolla short Nikki. bought a EV-400 from Darin today. thanks for the help. I needed something this week, and more researching was not gonna help me.

BTW I came through Indy on Friday, but to my dismay you did not have a welcome to indy sign anywhere for me. gotta say little disapointed :(

thanks anyway.

LOL spooda! Sorry I missed ya! No welcome signs because I was busy wondering what kind of food they serve at "Hillbilly Heaven"..."Now serving Food". What did they serve before?

Next year's race, you will have to make a trip to see my tank....I'll be sure to have a Welcome Parade for ya....maybe police escort to the race....better yet, how about a helicopter ride from your house to the track?

Somehow, I imagine this will be the title on my Biography...lol. I think you'll be happy with the Aqua C. When I was choosing skimmers, I narrowed it down to Euro-reef and Aqua C.
