I have my clam under 70 metal hallide. I noticed that when I look at it from the top of the aquarium , there is a little color. When I look at it through the glass, then it seems I can not see much of the blue or green. Is this comon? or do I have a sick clam

clams will look different from the top then from through the side. a photo would really help. also tell us more about your tank and how long you've had the clam

Probably just due to the angle of view. Is there less color on the top down view than before?
What type clam? Croceas need a lot of light, Derasa can get by on less. Some feel that Strontium and iodine help on color. James Fatheree has a great book on Tracnid clams, well worth reading.
