Just as it says. I've been playing with my skimmer for a few months tried 2 different valves. And forgot to clean out the hard nozzle or replace he line. It was cloggedish

Just thought I'd pass on the good fortune as a reminder to everyone who may be as forgetful as me.
It really brings back the life of the skimmer
Until next time

the muffler too... :)
they get gunked pretty quick in a dusty house.
there was an annoying sound from my skimmer pump,
I was like " aww, for the love of little baby jesus"
and then realized I merely had to clean the clogged muffler.

I use ro/di water and let the skimmer suck it up the air hose works pretty good, just need to watch that it dosn't over flow the skimmer cup. I also replace the foam in the muffler.

i use a cup of warm water down the air line everytime i empty the skimate.

And since there could also be calcium carbonate precipitating (due to CO2 in the air), a periodic flush with vinegar can't hurt as well.

Not needed as often as the water rinse though.
