So my clown fish has all of the sudden decided to start hosting my duncan. Will the duncan be ok or will it eventually get irritated with it???

From my experience, it may seem irritated at first but will accept the clown after a while and stop hiding. My nemo has hosted several different corals including a torch and a trachyphyllia open brain. The brain didn't like him for a week or two and would always shrivel up, but in time it got used to him and wouldn't move no matter how hard nemo pushed against it or layed on it.

great, thanks I feel better now. I was feeling sorry for it cause he seemed so unhappy about it.....

My clowns usually host on a fuzzy mushroom, but throughout the day they go and even hide in between heads of my duncans. It is pretty funny sometimes when I look over and wonder where my smaller clown is, and walk over to the tank to see it pop out of the duncans. :)

I agree. My clowns finally started hosting the torch we put in there to replace the anemone. I also have another clown that is hosting a hammer coral and they do fine and a maroon clown that is hosting a bubble coral in the aggressive tank. The bubble coral is actually doing better because the maroon clown protects it from the queen angel that was picking at it!

my clowns hosted with my green star's. it kinda funny to watch them. but the stars stay out so they must like it.
