It is as good of a write-up as any I guess. The write-up just made one sale at least.
Remember, in order for any organism to survive, it needs to breath & eat. Stuck in a bottle on a shelf for months (or longer???)... how much is left alive to do as the product states?
Another thought here… have you ever heard of using the same medication for a Cat, that is prescribed for a Dog? Different animals, needs different solutions. One solution can’t work for both. Remembering that what may work, or help for Fresh Water… isn’t going to be the correct choice for Salt Water… no matter what someone that wants you to purchase it may claim.
We are just trying to help you see where spending your (or, as you mentioned, your parents) money is best used... and those 2 products aren't required, and may possibly do more harm than not. If you rely on them if/when a fish of yours does need a treatment, you will be letting precious TIME pass when a proven treatment would save them... until possibly it becomes too late.
