hey doods,
my beloved clownfish (ocellaris) is not eating food :(, she started doing this since yesterday night when i gave her dinner.
she seems to be breathing a little bit fast, is she gonna be ok? :(
anything i can do to make her eat?

thanks doods/ettes

Assuming it isn't skinny, no reason nor way to force a fish to eat. Sometimes reducing salinity entices appetite, but would be bad for the corals and probably not time to move the fish.
Any new fish bothering it?
Changes in the tank?
Water change recently?

my ocellaris's eating habbets changed big time once he started hosting in his Gta.

not only did he get darker. but his eyes got a clear bubble cover over them (i guess 2 protect his eyes) you can only see it when he looks strait at you..

but he use to swim around the tank and eat with the other fish.... now he stays in his home... and only eats what floats close to home. He bolts out grabs it,and runs back as fast as he can some times.

water changes... and airation......
you dont have a film on the top of the water right?

thank you everyone .
i guess she just wasn't in the mood for eating, the next day she was her own self again :) .
i know i've been very bad about leaving her in my sump :( (i'm getting her a little fish tank in 2 weeks) and probably that's what it's bothering her.
my ph is at 8.3 and the temp hasn't gone up 79.
i've had my clown for about 4 years and 5 months dood .
