Clowns and Coral

I bought a yellow polyp frag yesterday and it is doing well in my tank. My clowns are being very protective of it. They knock the hermits down away from it and neither of them stray too far from the coral. It's so tiny compared to them. What's going on?? Is it just their curiosity??

I have a crazy clown that doesn't sleep, you'd think with the way he swims its on crack. I keep odd hours and check on it all the time, from morning noon and 3 am its swimming insane.. I'm guessing you have a crazy clown too, but that's just a guess.

Id agree w/ Gina- the clown is protecting its "anenome".
