Well, if one is female and the other male, there should definitely be a marked difference in size. As mentioned above, Elmo's Clown Workshop does have a lot of info on breeding Clowns and Clown behavior. It's rather long but VERY informative.

hmm the thing i see is that they look the same size which it can mean that you might have two females but i can be totally wrong .
i'd definetly watch them and read the breeding section on the clown workshop .... if you start seeing that fins are getting beat up i'd separate them ..... just in case, you don't want one killing the other .

i was just reading something .... ok when they told you they were a "pair" did they see them spawning before? or did they know if they have spawn before?

clowns are all male's untill they deside to mate.... when that happens one (uselly the smaller but not all the time) will stay male. and the other (usely larger but not all the time) will become the female.
