I talked to Mike about 9:30

No one was there with a Key so they went to a Pizza place. Only about 8 people showed up but it ran for about 2 hours.

Then they went to the place Brandy was talking about. So I just missed them all together.

Oh Yes you are right Mike and Brandy own a Red truck not a Brown. Dont worry sid I got you covered I called the eye doctor already....

Valley Christian is on 9th off of Dishman Mica, you may have been at the wrong place, although we ended up not having the meeting there because we couldnt get in:rolleyes: We stayed outside and waited for other people til about 7:15 then left ended up going down to Roundtable pizza on Sprague.

Here's a copy of the email Brett sent out a few days ago. I realize that some of us may have scheduling issues because of Mother's Day being the next day, but hope we can get a good turn out!!

"It's meeting time again, mark your calendars!

This month Randy & Deanne Graves have been nice enough to let us invade their home and drool over their wonderful Elos System 120XL. Here's a quick bio on their tank!

Tank Bio:
Elos System 120XL ( http://tinyurl.com/elossystem120xl )
- Rimless glass tank: 48" x 32" x 20" high with matching cabinet
- Capacity: 127 gal
- Elos sump: can be installed as either a sump or refugium. Their's is a refugium.
- Elos NS 1000 protein skimmer with EHEIM 1260 pump

In addition to the Elos system they run an Arctica chiller, Korallin C1502 calcium reactor, and a single Tunze powerhead. Our tank lighting is a 48" Coralife Aqualight Pro. It houses 2 - 150 watt 10K HQI's and 2 - 96 watt actinic power compact bulbs (because the tank is only 20' high Elos recommends 2 - 150 watt metal halide with T5/PC actinic supplement). For refugium lighting we use an off-the-shelf thread-socket fluorescent grow light.

This is their second reef tank. They chose the Elos system because they liked the open rimless top and the simplicity of the design (and because Deanne can reach the bottom).

Attached are a few pics to get you warmed up. Randy & Deanne also have more pictures at http://sailing.bobstaco.com/elos

Next Wednesday we will shoot out a reminder email with directions to the meeting location in Post Falls. Our discussion topic will be about fragging techniques and tools, and we will also be building frag racks (aka Fraks!). If you have extra egg crate at home bring it along, the club is supplying magnets and the glue to all who want to craft for only a $2 donation!"

Sounds fun, short drive for us!:)
So we need to bring the $2 for the glue and magnets, but do we need to bring our own egg crate or did I missunderstand?

Ahhh yeah - you people and your questions!!

The $2 covers everything you need - I've got the magnets and the glue covered, and we are depending on "donations" of egg crate to make up the last bit

I've got a sheet that I'm bringing and I'm sure some more sheets will show up @ the meeting as well - So, if you have some laying around bring it!! Otherwise let's mooch off the generousity of others :D

I know... we are pesty things.. at least you answer us!

I need to make a note to bring Randy & Deanne the eggs I forgot to get them last time and should bring back your urchin.
He's done a good job actually especially considering how hard it is for him to get into places. :D

Joanne, if we're unable to attend, you should stop by and pick up our extra egg crate. I'll do my best to make it, and I'll let you know closer to the meeting date.

Will do - I'll shoot ya a PM Friday or so and we will see how things work out :)

Haha uhoh - I'd better get my extra frags outta his tank so he has room to catch back up on his algae eating :) Glad he's been working hard!
