Starting with the November meeting, all future times and dates will be kept in this thread. This should make them easy to find and keep the board less cluttered.

To be put on the club mailing list and to recieve specific club information please send an e-mail to: [email protected]

Meeting November 15th!

Hello Everyone!

The plan is to have our November meeting on Saturday the 15th so keep that day open on your calendars. If you don't already know we have a permanent location for the club meetings if we are unable to find a host. If you would like to host this month please let me know.

This month we are starting something new at the club meeting. Thanks to our main sponser we have some items to raffle off. Tickets will be on sale at the meeting and the items will be handed out to the winners at the end of the meeting. If you are a paying club member the tickets are discounted. Just one of the many perks of being a member!

More info to follow!

January Meeting this Saturday 1/17

Friendly reminder for those who don't check their email often :)

Our meeting this month will be Saturday, 7 PM @ Matt's house in the valley. If you don't have directions or didn't receive the announcement email send us an email at [email protected] and Greg will resend the invite to you.

Presentation topic this month: Deep Sand Beds

If you have any specific questions about DSBs feel free to email Greg with your initial questions or post them here and we can be sure to cover them as well.

Lastly we will be holding another raffle this month - our raffle at our November meeting was awesome and thanks to Kevin @ Aquatic Dreams we have more treasures to offer. Be sure to bring your spare cash!!

See you all there!

I looked at a calendar from Greg the other day that had this Saturday (2/14) penciled in. I know he is finalizing the calendar for the entire year so we don't need to wait in anticipation anymore

Let's all PM him until be responds and find out for sure

well all of us that are on here yes, but i'm pretty sure my missus wouldn't be so keen on going to a "fish" meeting after she gets off work...

Feb Meeting 2/21

I got the official word - we will be meeting next Saturday 2/21. Tell your significant others to reschedule your dinner date for tomorrow!!

More details to come. Greg should have the email ready to go early next week.

I saw the email about this months meeting at the Valley Christian School.

I was going to try and make it. :)
Is there a specific room or ?? at the school?
Look for people who look "fishy"?

definitely look for "fishy" ppl. just use the front entrance (big glass area with flag pole in front) last time we just used the first room on the right. it'll probably be the only one with a light on. I might put an actinic light in the window as a dead give-a-way, but i'm not sure yet.

Thanks!

Thanks! Us directionally challenged people can use all the help we can get..
Joe teases me that I would get lost in my back yard! :D

Sure... How long are the meetings? I wanted to get a blenny from Kevin if he has one so I wouldn't want it to be sitting for too long. As far as car choices... I get 34 mpg if you don't mind small cars :)
