CO2 Instruction Question

I need help with the instructions on the unit below.

It says
You must connect all threads except needle valve 2 components and center black knob of the regulator with 1 or 2 layers of teflon tape. Ok I added the tape to the nut that joins the tank to the unit. Do I remove the gauges and tape them or are thet done at the manufactures and what else needs tape. I mean I could tear it all apart and tape everything but if I dont need to mess with it id rather not.

You do not want or need teflon on the tank flange. Those two white washers hang from the charge side of your regulator are the seals. I would remove the bubble counter and seal it with a very small amount of silicone. Close the needle valve and spray each connection with soap and water. This will check for leaks then your set. Be very carful with the teflon and the other connections, you dont want any to stray inside the regulator.
