If you mean the knop reactor I think it does. I think all calcium reactors use co2. The kalkwasser stirrers dont. HTH Steve

calcium reactors yes. kalk, no. ca reactors need the co2 to dissolve the media so it can be introduced to the tank via liquid ca. If it is a ca reactor you will also want to run it into your skimmer to blow off excess co2 before it reaches the main tank. hth
