HI,
what should i do with some cold coral?
someone left some just out side my front door. it is 28 degrees F here. I don't know when it was left, but it was cold. it had to be within the last 1.5-2 hrs.
i think there is a mushroom and at least some plating SPS and a snail shell
I am floating it in my tank, but i don't have a QT running at the moment...

I would say let them float and warm up for a 1/2 hour or so, acclimate them over another 1/2 hour and place them down near the bottom of your tank where there is not too much flow for a day or so and hope for the best.

and just assume that there are not flatworms or that they died? i don't know about fresh water dip'n them if that would be too much stress... or am I just being too careful?
i don't know if there is a snail in the shell yet... if there is should i acclimate for longer?

NEVERMIND
It was some that I accidentally left in my parents trunk from before Christmas :( :( :(

is there ANY chance that some thing will live?
