For some reason, comcast is not delivering mail from us. TONS of mail sitting in our queue for you comcast.net email address holders.

The server seems to be setup correctly, they are sending it to their abuse dept to try and get it resolved with comcast.

Please bare with us, I hope they can resolve it quickly, but likely not before Monday at the earliest.

Apparently it is more widespread than just comcast. Comcast, bellsouth, pacbell are all affected so far. I believe they gave us a non-clean IP address. One of the options I am looking into is obtaining a "clean" IP address.

Will keep you posted.

I called comcast yesterday a couple times and the response from the people I talked with was, "Huh???"

It's email this board sends out. Notifications of message responses, notices of PMs, any email that the Reef Frontiers site sends out.

Looks like I may be getting a new IP address to hopefully straighten it all out.

so go daddy was not working out for you? i use them but in my business i'd never know if customers are having issues or not!!!!

Good news is our ip address is resolving again :) Bad news is that even though comcast is taking us off their blacklist, it still isn't active yet. But am told it will be soon (I hope)

Checked recently on the status of comcast block. They said it may take up to 48 or so hours to refresh their entire network, soooooooo have to give it more time before I complain again :)

Still working on it !!! At least the site is running fine even though not everyone is receiving their notifications .... YET!

When it rains it pours. Our server didn't crash, the entire network that was feeding the area in california crashed :) That is why we were down.

Actually besides the network outage, the new server seems pretty good, and faster too. The IP address they gave me SUCKS :)

Depending on what area you're in, Comcast and Insight recently swapped around some of their market areas. I'm sure they will have their respective mailservers jacked out of shape before it's all said and done. I know my broadband service was acting flakey a few weeks ago when they started their conversion.

I think our block has been lifted. I have deleted MANY messages that are old in the queue, but I think (crossing my fingers) our comcast friends will now be getting notifications.

Please let me know
