Compare the t.v's and see if you can see a difference. The only thing i can see is the colors of the lcd's are brighter and the plasma colors are a little darker.

Pic number 1 32' samsung lcd 720p in my son's bed room.

Pic number 2 40' samsung lcd 1080p in our bed room.

Pic number 3 50' toshiba plasma 720p in the living room.

wwoouu you got a lot of t.v.s dood :D:lol:.

i think that 2 and 3 looks really good, specially #3, #2 is a little bit on the dark side for me and #1 is to bright :p other than that i don't know anything :p ....may be a bigger t.v. for the kid and the living room dood:D :) .

Kinda hard to tell with three different ballgames/pictures. It would be better to compare them with a hi -def dvd of nature pictires and freeze the frame and have them side by side. otherwise yeah it would be hard to tell.

Also it gets easier to tell the difference when they are all even 50" or bigger as you need better resolution on larger tv's to make it look as good as a 20"

I will say that they technically all smoke my tv !!!

The image will look about the same on all 3 since all 3 are displaying a 720p image. Throw in a blu-ray disk in the 1080p, then the same movie on dvd in the others and see the difference. FWIW DVDs are 480p assuming you have a progressive scan dvd player.

Man I can't wait until all TV is broadcast in 1080p.

Also the color variations can be settings. More often than not your TV will come pre-set to show room settings which can be a bad thing. Usually color temp will be set to high and on some TVs that can speed up burn in if you play video games. I tend to turn mine to low color temp as it lengthens the life of the display and really doesn't affect the image or color much.
