In a 29 gallon tank, I have a coral beauty, a goby and shrimp pair and an anemone and a clown. Would I have an issue if I added a Pseudochromis fridmani ?

dunno how many more fish you want to cram into a 29 gallon but sure they should all be fine together.

As Darth alluded to, I think you're pushing it as it is. Pseudochromis can be kinda fiesty, so I'm thinking maybe you should stop while you're ahead!

Too many already? The goby and shrimp are so tiny and all I have is the coral and clown.
But I will take the advice of people in the know if you think another would be pushing it.

It might be good to know what kind of bio filter you have to help determine what kind of bioload you could handle. Do you have a good skimmer, lots of live rock, a fuge? Those can all be factors too.
We had a psuedochromis - a strawberry dottyback one. He was a BUTT!! He attacked everybody. He nipped at my clowns, I didn't like him at all. And I had wanted one of those since we had set up saltwater, 1 1/2 yrs ago! But he ultimately died of a qt tank mishap, and I'm ashamed to say I didn't miss him!

I have a Euro-reef skimmer with about 35 pounds of LR. I am using carbon and a filter pad.

Pseudochromis fridmani is a very territorial fish. your tank is too small. it will make short work of the gobies and perhaps the angel as well. i speak from experience my friend. best to keep this little hell raiser out.

I agree with tike, the fridmani is pretty territorial. I have heard of it attacking prettymuch anything in the tank despite size. Go with a strawberry dottyback. They are less aggressive and you still get that pinkish/purple color.
