Ahhh, but a Gem Tang is BLACK, with white, sometimes diamond shaped, dots on it. They ROCK, but aren't worth that kind of money, no matter how hard they are to find!!

When you look at a fish of this magnitude you cannot see the color, all you see are $$$$$$$$$$$$ until your eyes burn :lol:

ahhhh no really I am color blind... I mix up shades of colors, it looked purple to me

Well you asked for the rare and not often seen in people's tank:lol::lol:. You don't often see any of those fish I mentioned. Yeah they are some spendy specimen! I can name a bunch of other really cool rare fish but then again you are looking at high hundreds to thousands of dollars. Might just want to stick to some common fishes and they are already expensive LOL. What ever you choose pick something that you like not something that no one has.

Well I am looking for something in a little bit lower price range. I just want some fish that when most people see it they say wow nice what is that. Really don't want to spend $1,000 on a fish. Like my Dussumieri Tang I got I have never seen it in someone else's tank and everyone told me if I had a chance to get one then get it because it might be months to years before you see it again..

Well those Candy Basslets are super nice and will be the talk of your tank especially if you get them to breed in your system also too under $1000. Very bright pink color.

If ya had mostly larger fish i would say Marine Betta, one of my favorite looking fish, wish they only got like 4".

I would get a harem of like 5-6 of the brightest anthias you can find

Dude that fish gets huge 21'' in the wild!!! It is a beatiful fish though.

They are cheeper but so pretty and colorfull
I bet you'll be happier with many small fish rather than a few big ones!!!

Yeah 21" I love big fish, it will go nicely in the 630 gallon in a few years!

Remember I used to have other larger fish in this 300 gallon so this is normal for me.
