Cool, my 15 minutes...now with fixed pic

Hey any locals out here in King County catch this story on the news or in the paper?....The guy anchoring the rescue line in the back is me ...haha cool. Our detective was wallking on a trail at the bottom of about a 200 foot hill and slipped an fell over a 50 foot straight down drop! He was OK though..just bumped and bruised. They were worried about more extensive back/neck/head injury though so we had to pull him up the whole way in a rescue litter.

Well I was going to attatch the picture but for some reason I am exceeding my maximum number of attachments even though I went in and deleted every one of them...hmmmmm

Ok its fixed and attached three posts down

Well now it wont even let me post...I wrote this three times and it wouldnt post...is this working now?...

Sweet, thanks to Chuck I am now able to attatch a pic of this operation and show myself in all my glory..lol:lol: Anyway I'm the old "Police man" in the back ;)

Proof once again that the Fire department needs Police to pull the line and help them out.

:D

Nick

yeah dood, i thought Fire men were suppose to be all strong and what not... but from where i see it, i rather get rescued by a cop :D

LOL so how come when a detective falls over thiers only one cop on the line??????

Mike

Mike, that's because either

1- the other ones are taking a break like Stan's partner who's way way way on the back just watching  or
2- he's the only strong guy in there :D

LOL....the funny part is I know the fireman in front of me pretty well, as we were pulling on the rope he turned to me and said...."how come were the oldest guys here and were the only ones pulling?" ;)

Our detective was just banged and bruised. He was real lucky, weve had people go over that edge and not make it.

If anyone has been out to Kensn house in Auburn, this was only a couple blocks from where he lives.

Where is Ken??? :(

He's been missing for a while now, I think we need to send a detective after him! I miss him!

Susie

Oops, forgot to say: WAY TO GO STAN!!!

Hmm way to go Stan!!

I have to agree with Susie, where is Ken!?

We shall hire the Hardy Boys or Nancy Drew?

Best,
Ilham

Hey Stan! Awesome! I'm glad the detective was OK, too.

Also, Its good to see old guys still have it! ;) :D

Stan, i think all those moments when you had to lift a tank or carry something heavy for your tank, helped you in there too :).
About Ken, so far the only thing i have heard is that he's been working a lot and that his work shifts are really screwed up so that's why we haven't seen him in action.

So were you always the anchor man on the tug-o-war team in gradeschool, Stan? Enjoy the 15 minutes, at least you were not the one being pulled out!

MikeS

Stan...Looks like you're the one doing all the work!(LOL) Did you get a promotion, raise, medal, thank you card, free kids meal from Mcdonalds? Very cool man...They had a fire here today and the fire truck had problems getting down the road in reverse then they got stuck in a hole!(LOL) Almost as bad when downtown Nassau's straw market caught on fire and none of the trucks that came had water! Only in the Bahamas...Ready to re-locate?:)

LOL Krish I didn't even get a poke in the eye with a sharp stick:eek: The part thats not in the paper is that it was me climbed down the hill/cliff and found him then guided the rescue boys in to his location. Thats ok though I don't need anything, and the detectives "thanks for being there for me buddy", was good enough:D

As far as Ken goes, I've been by his place a few times, but I have a recruit trainee right now so I can't stop. I'll try and stop by and see whats up with him, after I get rid of her this week..
