Cooling probllems

Hey everone love the site having trouble wif my newly setup 38 litre tank ... currently setting up 350lt but wish to use this tank later on as a Q tank.. problem having at the moment is lights running eight hours a day pref at night have fans in hood but temp creeping up to 30 c have been freezing water from tank to reduce temp only to bring it back to 28max have placed two air stone in return pump bay only to have a 1 degree change .. any suggestion appreciated thanks everyone

Bummer man...Been there as well:doubt: For starters, do you have any lids on your tank? If so, you'll need to remove them. Secondly, do you have a canopy and is it vented in any way? Thirdly, are you running a sump on this setup and if so, is it totally enclosed in a stand without any ventilation? If so, you'll need to try cooling in there as well. I had to remove the back off of one of my stands and add a fan to blow over the sump to keep things cooler. Also, how many fans are you using and how are they being used? Pushing air in? Venting air out?? Let us know...If you have any pics that may even help a bit as well. I have pics of how I cooled in a canopy I once had using a few fans, but I'll wait to hear back from you first to see how everything is set up as you may not be using a canopy

Besides whatever Krish just said, you can unplug your heater.

More air circulation is the only thing short of a chiller I can think of. Unless you have a bad heater as stated above.

thanks guys sorry for so long reply i work 7 days per week so not lot of time .... as 4 description of tank its one of those aqua one wif fans built in to cool lightsing only ... its normally 30+ degress c here at the moment so as 4 cooling just run two cpu fans blowing on water enough to reduce heat to 27-28 degres which i think should be good enough.... tried to post photos but having trouble wif getting them smaller in size not good wif elecs hahaha .. anys ways added 1.5kgs of live rock and a neon fuzey so hopefuilly things go well... have noticed a few unwelcome critters who grabbed a free ride wif rock ,... but time will tell i guess thanks so much hopefully when more experienced can answer som one elses q's thank you muchly..
