Copepods Should i add them??

Hey guys i was wondering what kind of benfits do i get if i add copepods to my refugium?

They are detritivores and they're a source of food for your fish. All you need is some live rock or cheato that already contain copepods and they'll multiply.

hmm ok is there a certain amount that i can have in my tank and is there certain species of them

I add around 2000 a month but now I'm working on a breeder tank so I will always have tons to add

If you have live rock in your display tank, and have a little cover for them to live around in the sump, they will end up there.
No need to add extra, unless you have a plan for them.

my mandarins and blennys lovem as do all the other fish in my tank

I have a mandarin and a couple other fish that eat pods. I get a bag of tisbe reef pods about once a year and a pack of amphipods & copepods about once a year and add them to my sump. They reproduce and are plenty for the fish to eat.

I always get the big juicy ones from reefs2go there huge and plump
