I mounted the SPS frags my wife selected today at OCB, and I noticed while gluing the frags down the piece of rubble I was using had a patch of cyano on it. After a soak in Coral RX, a rinse in RODI water, I found the cyano went from dark maroon red to an orange color and pretty much dissolved after I placed the piece back in the tank. Anyone else seen this before?

cyano is a bacteria, so between the coral rx and the freshwater rinse, that should probably be enough to kill it off. Unfortunately you cant use coral rx in the tank, but if the cyano is on a small enough rockto take out and dip, it could help.
