Assume the worst lol, aiptasia, red and green bubble and a touch of HA on exsisting corals, Id really like to rescue them (from a friends tank wink wink) any suggestions as to returning their virginity??
These are mature aiptasia and peps won't touch them, Ill research the revive, thats a new one to me. ThanksWell 1st get a grip of peppermint shrimp....hope they eradicate the aptasia. Than id get some coral rx or I use revive....and make some sw up.... Get a toothbrush (preferably new). Sit em in the dip... Scrub em...a lil or as needed.... Rinse and repeat as needed. A good cuc will help too...I really enjoy these snails with a soft shell that are a lil quicker than the others...something like stomellia sp. They eat lots of stuff....
thanks Pep, yes I have but this is salvage not restoration, if I (my friend lol) was keeping the tank it would be that or a file fishHave you done any research on a critter called a bergi? It will eat the apatsia
don't want no more fish lol, they are immune to joe's and ap ex, I bough some lye and did a draino challenge on them, still came back at the site.I recently got a copper band butterfly fish and was told it would eat em too. Don't forget the aptasiaX or joes juice.....
Thanks Mike, thats pretty much the plan, quite concerned about transferring this crap to the new tank, maybe Ill set up a way station tank
hopefully all goes well
Be careful setting up a third tank. Make sure you place it were the better half cant find it. LOL
Remember that is two more than you are allowed to have running.
