coraline algae

have you ever seen coraline algae change from red to white.i think some of mine is.

Were you doing a water change??? If so then what ever was exposed to the air will turn white.Thats what happened to mine.

I've seen it turn white when it dies. If you take the water away from it, it turns white.

ive cut my light time down recently.i wonder if that has something to do with it.i cut it down to 8 hours a day.im going to change it back to 11 hours to see if changes.

My coralline turns white after my urchin passes over it and chews on it. Turns back to pink within a couple days.
