Coralline is great to have. It will be a while before it starts to show tho. You need to keep your calcium levels up at around 400 as coralline is a calcerous algae, meaning it will consume calcium. HTH.
They are talking about Kalkwasser. This is normally dripped into the tank, to supplement calcium. Do a little searching around here on kalk, and you will find more than enuf info.
How long has your tank been set up?
OK, let the first 3 level out at 0 before you start adding anything at all. You will probably experience a couple of algae blooms along the way, just ride the tide and don't panic!!!!!!!!!!! This is just about what everybody else in the hobby has gone thru. The key to everything is to just be patient, and let things happen as they may. It has worked for me, but believe me, I have made my share of mistakes along the way .
Yeah, that's my problem too, it's just getting past that first urge to immediatly do something. If you get past that, it gets alot easier....... I think Stick with it, and don't get disappointed, that's the key. Do as much research as is possible, then do some more!! This board has some great resources and people. Between both of them, they can get anybody thru anything.
