Us humans take way more than what we give back to nature so it is only time that corals will be banned from importing to the US or anywhere for that matter. We usually wait until disaster strikes before we realize what we do now can greatly effect what will be tomorrow.

That's pretty stupid. Rising oceanic temperatures and rising atmospheric CO2 levels are going to kill all the corals, not hobbyists.
Not to mention we already have an agency(international) that regulates the collection of corals to monitor endangered and at risk species, its called CITES.
