I have a 58 gallon tank. I do a water change of 25% once a week. In the tank I have two clowns, one royal gramma, one flame angel, some Polyps (which are growing like mad), one blood shrimp.

I plan on adding my refugium soon. Could I add 2 or 3 small fish and another kind of polyp, maybe more shrimp and a starfish?

Any thoughts are appreciated.

well, corals and such usually aren't considered burdens, at least significant burdens on the bioload, unless you're target feeding a lot. As for fish i'd add the refugium and then add more fish if you're going to, there's not really a technical limit, it's just the more crowded and such the harder it will be to keep good water quality, sounds like you do a good job though with 25% a week, that's much more then i can boast on my tanks

I think you could add one or maybe two more fish to your system, but be aware with overfeeding!!!
I dont see any trouble with the shrimp and the polyps. but with the starfish It will depend on the species!!

i agree...i would pass on a starfish...also, be careful what fish you add..some like to eat small shrimps!!!! i think you could add another couple of fish..keeping up on those WC's is a big help !!!!!
