could i get advice on which koralia should i use?

i'm upgrading to a 155 gallon bowfront and dont know what size koralia to get. i'm gonna have about 3-4 inches of sand that i dont wanna blow everywhere. please help! thanks tony

For that size of tank, I'd suggest #4s. I use a couple #3s in my 75 and have no problem with sand movement. The quality of flow is even more important than the quantity though. Aiming your powerheads or pumps in a way that their currents collide to create random flow is what you want.

I have 3 #3's in my 90 gal. pointing all different ways with no sand storms.

We have 3 #4's in our 120...i would reccomend you have atleast 4 of them!

or insted of jamming 4 #4's in there why dont you get your self 2 tunze 6060's

flow is one of the most inportent things.... dont go cheap, dont geto rig, dont skimp.

you will thank your self in the months 2 come....

i have a koraila pump i bought just 2 see how it comepairs.. and i must say, its bin siting on the self for about 3 months.

I'd also look into the Maxijet Mods that are available. They're fairly inexpensive, based on the very reliable Maxijet 1200 and really put out a lot of flow!!

Look into the koralia magnums. Even the #4s are pretty weak.
