I was looking in my tank with a flashlight tonight and was surprised by a little tiny crab.

I can't get a picture of him because he is so tiny but I am hopeing that I can describe him since he is different than all the crabs that I can find pictures of.

The crab has a really small miniature body. He has long arms with with small pointed pinchers attached to them. It looks like he has really small tiny arms moving around his mouth. He is really fast, he's like my emerald crab on crack. What do you guys think? I am just worried about my star polyps.

I don't like hitchhiking crabs very well. If it were me, I would try and get him out. You can stick him in the sump if you have one.

Hitch hikers can be extreme trouble, however in my zeal to exterminate hitchhikers I have killed a good one. I found a peanut worm, I.D. after breaking the rock and killing it. It was a good critter that eats deteris. I will be more careful in the future. Find a photo of said critter you might have something cool. Then again most crabs are trouble. Steve
