Hi I'm new here and have just noticed 2 of these things in my 75 reef. I have a pic, they are some kind of filter feeder. I can watch them extend there arms and then retract them back into there mouth. It's the seaweed looking things just above and to the left of the clam. little branchy arms white and red in color.

Welcome to Reef Frontiers!!

Unfortunately, I can't see what it is you're asking about. I also can't see the clam that you're using as a point of reference.

I do see what might be some type of foraminifera, which kind of matches your description.

I'm not seeing it either.

The clam is the rock looking thing. The opening of the clam is towards the live rock, not sure why but the live rock came from the gulf of mexico and it had these clams on it which face towards the rock. The thing I need ID on is the small branchy things. It is right dead center in the pic. Thanks

the foraminifera kinda seem to be it. But the ones I have are about 1/8" across from what I can tell. The pic is pretty close to double the actual size.

I see it it looks almost like a basket starr fish tentacle branchy looking thingy right in the middle pointing down coming out of a hole
I have no idea what it is ?
