cureing live rock??

Even though your rock has completed the text book definition of "cycled", I would still keep curing the rock until the tank has arrived.

in the next 2-3 wks, there is always a chance that an ammona spike can occur,
 
O.k., now the TRITES are 0 ammonia is 0 and the TRATES are spiking brutally,
I did a water change yesterday and have my big skimmer in there.
Is there anything else I need to do except water changes weekly or more if the TRATES get worse?????
 
I wouldn't even worry about that. You aren't going to be using the current water in your new tank are you? Just let it simmer until the time comes and move it on over. Changing water is just going to be wasting salt IMO especially if it's only a week or so. If anything, throw in some macro's with a light over them. They'll love the nitrates.
