They were here last month, but I managed to buy myself a few more months. LOL

My wife picked him out!
I LOVE that fish!
I was gonna ask if someone could babysit him for a few months but I would be heart broken if anything happend to him!
He's so nice and friendly!
I didn't know he would grow so fast?

OH
So I could help the prosses of cureing by throwing in some cured liverock in the tub?
Sounds good to me!!!
I'll have to go to HOME DOPOT next weekend and get a good size tub!!
I think I got the rest (*except a skimmer) ie: heater, power head
Well I'll get them going in a week of two to gethte rock cured
two months should do it!

I would let the base rock cycle, then check to see if any phosphates are leached. If none, and nirtates are acceptable from whatever organics are still around, then it is ready for the tank. (No need for light during this procedure) The rock will become live quickly if there is other live rock around. Should have good coralline coverage in 2 months, denitrifying bacteria should establish in half that time if the rock has nice pores in it, but will still take a while to mature.

what i did was
Picture357.jpg

was white dry rock.. with a few Old LR that was dry and void of life,
i placed a piece of shell from a tank that i selected, seeded with that...

then added what i wanted till it's (now) ready for support.

few water changes... i did light.. head and movement.
