Custom 180G

Well I am upgrading from my 120g to a custom 180g. Th tank is 4'x3'x2', staphire all around. It will be euro-braced w/ external overflow.

The stand will be made of 1.5" steel tube powder coated. Im gonna skin it w/ maple and try my best to match it to my cabinets. There will be 4 pieces to the skin.

Tank should be ready April 22nd
Pick up the tank
Add the rock and sand

Test the water 2 days later for:
Amm/trites/trates/PO4

A week later add my clownfish and a big cleaning crew

Then test every week and as long as everything is going right every week add my fish back into the tank.
In one months time I plan on have all 15 fish back into the tank.
When all fish are in and all test show "0" (PO4 .03), I will then Start testing for :
Cal (415)
Alk (8.0)
Mag (1500)
Pott (380)

After there inline with the way they should be I will connect my Calcium Reactor and start adding all of my SPS and LPS into the tank.
I will then start to dose my zeo additives one at a time until I get the right dosings. Gonna be using
Amino Acid
Coral Vitalizer
Pohls Coral Snow
Pohls Coral +
B-Balance
K-Balance
Sponge Power
Pottasium Iodide
Iron

Here are some pics of the 120g now that I moved it into my parents basement from my house. It is being used to hold my fish until the new tank is ready for them.

I plumbed this into the 120g to hold the Idol and Achilles so that I know that there eating. So far the Idol is eating a ton of nori a day and picks clean every rock I put in there that has sponges on it. I figured ill keep them in here for 4 weeks and see if theres anything wrong with them and that there keep eating like they are.

Looks like alot of fun...I just put my 120 into a custom 240. It was alot more then I bargained for. Can't wait to see how your project goes. Looks like you're alot more organized then I was about it. Keep those updates coming.

I have Aquariums for you building the tank for me. They do great work and did EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING to get me to go with them. My tank was the smallest they were building when I went there everything was HUGE lol.


Update
After work tonight I went to feed my fish. Well first I feed prime reef flakes to the 120 and said ahhh leets trry the achilles and idol tank. BAM the Idol ate it. Then I fed sea veggie flakes to the 120 and said lets try this now and BAM the idol ate it I then fed my regular mysis the achilles always eats it but BAM the idol ate it I was so happy to see the Idol just eating everything
