So we had to move our anemone to the refugium yesterday and I think my husband hurt her foot. She seemed okay in the fuge but just now I saw some strange scum on sump water and I can't find the anemone.

I fear she is dead and now goo.

My purple tang is acting strang and is pale and that always worries me.

I am going to do an ammonia test right after I write this and will also mix up 60 gallons of change water for tomorrow morning - my system is 325 g.

Should I worry that everything will die tonight?

oh dear! sorry about that, you should try and find whats left if possible, water change, water change, water change, carbon, carbon, carbon, a shot of prime might offset the ammonia spike, good luck Ill cross some fingers for ya

At 325 gallon I do not think a single anemone is going to kill everything overnight. I have 400 g and have lost fish that I have never found and never had any problems.

I gotta agree with kris..I have a 375g and lost a fish without my knowledge and was just fine...just doing more water changes and run carbon.should be fine.

Thanks for the reassurance! I still tend to freak when something new happens in the tank. I suppose that in a few more years I'll get more laid back about things.
Ammonia is 0 right now and I'll do the big water changes tomorrow.
