Barrier Reef has offered us a chance to get Tropic Marin Pro Coral Cure.
If we can get a group order the price will be much less than one person can buy it for at Barrier Reef. A group order of 12 or more can get the price down to $21.00 plus tax per bottle.
If you would like to get in on the deal please chime in, PSAS will order it and deliver it to meeting.
And Please say Thanks to Cy and Tim at Barrier Reef for supporting PSAS again:)

Here is the info for anyone curious:

Tropic Marin PRO-CORAL CURE In many aquariums, parasites and microbial diseases can appear on new corals especially Acropora corals that are weakened and stressed by transport. Due to the lack of natural enemies, these parasites and diseases propagate and spread quickly in the aquarium. Since they are almost invisible to the naked eye the parasites are only perceived when damage is already substantial.
Therefore it is recommended to preventively treat all newly purchased Acropora corals with Tropic Marin PRO-CORAL CURE and to apply PRO-CORAL CURE to all corals which have been attacked by flatworms. Treatment is done by a bath of 10-15 minutes.
Besides flatworms PRO-CORAL CURE is also effective against parasitic sea spiders (Pantopoda) and microbial diseases.
Tropic Marin PRO-CORAL CURE is a highly effective iodine preparation against parasitic flatworms that can be found on corals, especially Acropora.

Key features of PRO-CORAL CURE:

- Effective iodine preparation against parasitic flatworms that can be found on corals, especially Acropora.
- Easy use and application
- Bottle includes a dosing pump.
- pH of the bath is adapted to saltwater conditions.

Isn't that just re-packaged Lugols?
Hey folks! Barrier Reef Aquariums is currently at MACNA and we talked with the North American distributor for Tropic Marin. We asked him this question. He said specifically that it is an iodine based product, but it is not in the same form as lugol's. He is inquiring with the manufacturers in Germany to get details on what Pro Coral Cure is made of. We will post info as we get it.
Thanks-
