Finally....

Our Bali MariCulture Shipment will be here monday evening w/ many "Deep Water" colonies. I'll let others debate the application of the "Deep Water" name and instead use it to refer to a selection of species. These colonies will go fast. The sooner you swing by the better the selection will be.

Also, Tim and I are hitting the road w/ Bricky. We are off to San Francisco to visit Elos USA, the Monteray Bay Aquarium, and to check out a few stores in the area. We'll be bringing back Bricky's Custom Elos and hopefully he'll finally start his long overdue tank build thread. We will try and check in often. If we miss email, PM, or posts we apologize in advance. We'll be back thursday. In the meantime Mark and Chris will be running things. Ideally, we'll post pics while we're on the trip. Watch for an "Elos Roadtrip" thread in the coming days:)

Here's what will be in monday:
Shallow Water
1-Acropora abrolhosensis
1-Acropora humilis
1-Acropora nasuta
1-Acropora secale
1-Acropora valida

Deep Water
2-Acropora efflorecence (unusual)
1-Longicyathus Staghorn (should be insane)
3-Acropora loripes
2-Acropora plana
3-Acropora surharsonoi (a really unique looking species)

Should be nice! If you don't have ID books just google these corals. The www.whelk.aims.gov.au results are usually really good.

Fyi. The web link won't Work here cuz it isn't the exact link to where Cy was trying to direct you to. When you do a google search for the coral species names he just suggested to pick the results that have whelk.aims.gov in the address.

okay guys the corals are in and they are really nice..........all of 'em.

acro. albrohosensis-tealy green with grey/green tips
acro. efflorecence-creamy brown body with bright med. blue tips, they are a plating species
acro. humilis-creamy body with light bluey/purple tips with green polyp
acro. loripes-white body with pale green high lights with purple/blue tips
acro. plana-look like a more bottle brush style loripes....very similar coloring to the loripes as well
acro. secale-dark cream body with blue/purple tips
acro. valida-pretty much a solid purple/blue....really nice little colony
acro. suharsonoi-these guys are sweet......ghostly white with a green overlay smooth branches kinda like acro. loripes without the coralites

again all colonies are really nice and are decent sized..... they just told me they are just waitin' to get into some tanks....................so lets give 'em what they want guys:D
