I was just wondering if carnation's were hard to keep? I read some were that they wood just not live in captivity no matter what you do. Their are different types, so does this go for all of them and is there a place that has information about them. I like the ones that look like little trees/bushes. If anyone knows any thing about the subject please let me know.

Anthony Calfo (and others) have repeatedly stated that this coral will not survive in captivity, along with non-photosynthetic gorgonians and the like.

There simply isn't a way to deliver enough of the appropriate amount of food (whatever that actually is, nobody seems quite sure) to the coral.
