Denny's Pet World back to salt

Denny's Pet World in Totem Lake is in the process of expanding - which includes a new fish room. They are going to add a 700 gallon saltwater system. I have been told that they will carry coral, inverts, live sand, live rock, and (of course) fish.

Since there is a setup period involved, they do not anticipate the s.w. to be available until late September. But, it's great news for me since I live down the street

Good news for me also, since I am also pretty close. I stopped by there this past weekend to see how the progress is going. they've got the fish room built, but still alot of work to be done getting it all setup. They have at least one employee who keeps a reef tank at home, I chatted with him a while back about the new add on to the store. Here's hoping they do it right.

Oh neato! I actually use to work there for a while and was able to get a really nice African Ciclid tank going at home to start my fish obsession. I always wanted salt but they didn't have that then.

I live in Totem lake area and would love to see some of my neighbors tanks! Possibly trade or buy some frags if maybe.

Anyway now I need to go check that place out again and say hi to Tiki. That bird weighs like 15 pounds and is very scarry to hold. Also says a good number of bad words if you prompt him right =).

I have three LFS here is Missoula, Montana and only one is worth it's "salt"! Sorry had to do it!!

Anyways they are getting into a really big place and going to have an Amazon theme with a large water fall and several sw tanks and a couple of large display tanks as well!! Great news for this small town! Johnny

Denny's is having a 29th Anniversary sale next weekend 8/9 & 8/10. All tanks, stands & canopies are supposed to be at dealer cost. They're offering FW fish at 50% off too.
