Derasa missing part of the mantel

I got this baby Derasa ans is part of the mantel is bit off you think it will grow it back ?
here is some picture not the best but you can see the part that is gone.

Well it sure is hard to see with the picture quality but as long as it doesnt get infected it should be okay. the main thing is to separate it from what is biting it...

I got it this way i saw it had a piece off the mantel but was $20 ,:razz:

hard to tell, but also sort of looks like pinched mantel.

Definately not pinched mantle. I wouldnt worry about it unless the wound open. If its open I'd qt him in a nice clean qt tank. I'm sure he is fine.

It is a injury .
It is ORA Derasa about 2 1/2 " has a nice color that was the reson i got it.

The Derasa had the PMD and was given FW dip two times in a week almost lost the small Derasa clam but now is doing very good .
