I have both a 120 show tank with a 140 sump and a 34 gal red sea max. In my Max I am having a problem with detrius collecting. My nitrites and nitrates are next to nothing but it is unsightly. I have the 2 125 gph pumps that come with it and another power head that is pushing either 150 or 200 (cant remember which). I am keeping a pair of picasso clowns, 5 or 6 hermit crabs, 4 snails of medium size and several smaller ones. I have 1 anenome, several types of polyps and lps. Are there any critters or fish you can suggest to clean things up?

Absolutely, I run my 240 at 30x and you just have to direct your flow in a way that causes the detritus to be stirred up from the bottom of the tank without blowing the sand around. start high a gradually aim your flow further down until you just start to see the detritus move around.

time to break out the gravel cleaner. do one section at a time letting the bacteria population to build on the clean area.
