Hd filters have to high of micron rating. The filter guys are my preference.

costco.com sells a 5 micron sediment and a carbon for 8.99, filter guys sells a set for 17.99, they do give you the option of either 1 or 5 micron on the sediment filter though...

Not a thing, my mistake, I don't use DI on my RO, so I had a little bout of Myopia, sorry about that...

I get all my refill stuff from purely H20. Their prices are unbeatable for DI resin, replacement RO filters, carbon filters and sediment filters. None of that 10 micron crap. They are almost all 1 micron and 5 micron.

Spectrapure is the best out there, they have pattens on thier resin. If it can take 1100 TDS to 0 then you know they are good.
